Pink's almost done!

I think the hardest part of the whole thing was taping and lining the lettering. It took many many hours until I was happy with the outcome.

The front was very hard as well. Since I had totally painted over the original art,
before hand I had transfered it to a large piece of tracing paper. When I was ready to start painting,
I lined the back of the tracing paper with charcoal and rubbed back onto the machine to mark where the characters were.
Then I started the process of repainting them. In addition to the tracing paper,
I used photo reference from other peoples Ms. Pac-Man machines from eBay.

And there we have it. Ms. Pac-Man back in action.
I clear coated the whole thing with a two-part polymer called Matthews.
This stuff was very, very nasty and bad for you, so I wore a respirator.
Please wear one if you use this stuff!
I used a semi-gloss finish and it smoothed everything out nicely.
Plus, the clear coat gives UV protection and it's rock hard so the surface should last about...
three hundred and fifty two years, by my estimate.
I put on some new t-molding, and that completed her journey to beauty's ville.
